A Heartfelt Thank You

After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to dissolve Glinda’s Closet over the next year.

Since 2022, we have had the incredible privilege of helping more than 1,000 children experience the joy and excitement of Halloween. What began as a small community project grew into something far greater than we ever imagined, and that is entirely because of the generosity of our volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters.

To everyone who donated costumes, volunteered their time, hosted collection drives, shared our mission, provided resources, sponsored fundraisers, or simply encouraged us along the way—thank you. Your kindness made it possible for us to reach so many children and families over the past four years. We are deeply grateful for every person and organization that believed in our mission.

As we begin this final chapter, Glinda’s Closet will no longer be accepting costume donations or hosting public giveaway events.

Our focus this fall will be on ensuring that our remaining costumes continue to make a difference. We are actively looking to partner with shelters and other nonprofit organizations that serve children so our remaining inventory can be distributed where it is needed most.

While Glinda’s Closet is coming to an end, we hope the spirit of our mission lives on through the many organizations and individuals who continue to make a difference in their communities.
